Retail Betting Assistant (RBA)

Starting Salary: €14.40 per hour.

Role Summary

As a Retail Betting Assistant at Paddy Power, you are the welcoming host for our customers, ensuring they have an outstanding experience in our retail shops. You will engage warmly with every visitor, promote our online and retail products, and create a friendly atmosphere while driving sales and delivering hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Host customers in the shop and cross sell retail and online products and services.
• Assist customers to place bets through betting terminals, telephone services, and in shop transactions.
• Maintain excellent shop presentation standards to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Stepping up and guiding operations in the absence of the Shop and Deputy Manager, ensuring smooth functioning of the shop.
• Adapt to different situations while remaining customer focused.
• Fulfil social responsibility duties by adhering to established guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

While experience in betting is not required, we look for:

• A proactive and motivated attitude with a passion for achieving results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers.
• Good communication skills and a customer first approach.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic retail environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
