Retail Head Baker Job Wexford Package and Benefits

Key Responsibilities of Head Baker Position

• Produce fresh breads, cakes, and bakery products to a high standard
• Bake large quantities while maintaining quality and consistency
• Support, train, and guide junior team members
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries
• Take customer orders and resolve complaints professionally
• Maintain attractive bakery displays and merchandising standards
• Ensure the bakery department operates efficiently at all times

Requirements for Head Baker Position

• Minimum 2 years experience in a busy bakery environment
• Experience in bakery production and food preparation
• Skilled in producing baked goods from scratch or using par baked products
• Qualified baker is an advantage
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Creative with a flair for merchandising and product presentation
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to understand and prioritise customer needs
