About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-quality hospitality venue. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, leading and developing a team, maintaining high service standards, and driving commercial performance. You will work closely with senior management and the kitchen team to ensure a seamless customer journey and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operation of the restaurant and front of house services.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service are maintained at all times.
- Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Manage rotas and labour costs effectively.
- Monitor and control budgets, costs, stock levels, and wastage.
- Drive revenue growth through excellent service, upselling opportunities, and local engagement.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider management team to deliver operational excellence.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service periods, leading by example.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role within hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service excellence.
- Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop high performing teams.
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and stock control.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods as required.
