About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy, high-quality hospitality venue. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, leading and developing a team, maintaining high service standards, and driving commercial performance. You will work closely with senior management and the kitchen team to ensure a seamless customer journey and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation of the restaurant and front of house services.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service are maintained at all times.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Manage rotas and labour costs effectively.
  • Monitor and control budgets, costs, stock levels, and wastage.
  • Drive revenue growth through excellent service, upselling opportunities, and local engagement.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider management team to deliver operational excellence.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service periods, leading by example.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role within hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service excellence.
  • Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop high performing teams.
  • Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and stock control.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods as required.
