Job Description

GAUCHO is looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our GAUCHO Tower Bridge team! The successful candidate will be fully accountable for the restaurant in terms of guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance and team development (FOH). The Restaurant Manager works closely with the senior managers to run a smooth and successful operation in terms of finance, product and people. The Restaurant Manager takes charge of the controllable lines of the P&L as delegated and delivers the budget (bar stock etc).

Key Responsibilities of the GAUCHO Restaurant Manager
  • Work with the General Manager to execute the plan in place to beat the budget, driving top line sales.
  • Oversee team objectives and engaging development plans, and execute the succession plan in place.
  • Drive the GAUCHO culture, inspire, guide and educate hourly team members.
  • Ensure a fully trained team regarding compliance and personally achieve over 95% on shield and food audits.
  • Support the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising.
  • Enforce brand standards in regard to consistent strong guest feedback and mystery diner results.
Requirements for GAUCHO Restaurant Manager
  • Excellent communicator and inspirational leader.
  • Evidence of managing a team of people.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  • WSET Level 2 desirable.
  • Genuine passion for heightened hospitality.
