We are recruiting for a Restaurant Manager for a luxury Cotswold Estate, with an 80 seat 'all day dining' brasserie style restaurant & bar, with summer terrace, that is open 7 days a week to both residential and non residential guests. The restaurant is very much the 'hub of the estate', and can serve in excess of 500 covers per day during peak periods. It also hosts lots of events, including a monthly supper club with tasting menus. Our client is therefore looking to recruit a well groomed and spoken, 'face of the business' Restaurant Manager who will take full ownership of the day to day running of the restaurant, including staff training and development and all financial aspects. This is very much a 'hands on' Restaurant Manager role, managing a core team of full time staff plus regular casual usage. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join this exclusive luxury country estate and play the lead role in the future success of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Own the day to day running of the restaurant, ensuring consistent quality and service standards.
- Lead staff training and development programmes for the full time and casual teams.
- Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control and profitability.
- Plan and support events such as the monthly supper club with tasting menus.
- Stable and progressive background as a Restaurant Manager, with current experience in contemporary restaurants.
- Experience to a minimum of One AA Rosette standard.
