We are seeking a vibrant and experienced Front-of-House Manager to lead our hospitality team and deliver great customer service in a fast paced restaurant setting. The successful candidate will have excellent management skills, a love for food and beverage service, and a solid track record in restaurant operations. This position is responsible for managing day to day front of house operations, supervising personnel, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and creating a pleasant environment for customers. Previous casual dining, fine dining, or hotel management experience is a big plus. The Front of House Manager will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and cultivating a pleasant team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate front of house workers to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Maintain food preparation, presentation, and service standards to satisfy quality expectations
  • Operate POS systems for order processing & cash handling
  • Train personnel in food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
  • Manage inventory control and support food management to reduce waste and control expenses
  • Respond to guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to improve guest satisfaction
  • Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dining space and the orderly appearance in accordance with health standards
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
  • Work with Kitchen Management on food preparation, catering, and banquet events, and bar services
  • Adhere to all food safety requirements and sanitation protocols in all front of house operations
  • Assist in budgeting and tracking operating costs connected to the front of house
Certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in managing restaurants or hospitality management positions, ideally in casual dining or fine dining settings
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, supervision and team management
  • Experience with Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus. Must have cash handling experience
  • Food safety regulations and food handling procedures knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address issues in an effective manner
  • Experience in inventory control, food manufacturing, catering, and banquet services preferred
  • Ability to manage shift patterns effectively whilst delivering high standards of service
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary operation is helpful, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, ability to interview, teach, inspire personnel, and encourage teamwork
  • Hospitality and/or hotel experience a plus; culinary and/or food sector experience a plus
