Role: Resource and Planning Officer

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

Department: Resource Planning and Allocation

Main duties and responsibilities:

Timetable Development and Management
  • Develop, optimize, and manage semester timetables for multiple ESL campuses, ensuring high space utilization and adherence to compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with campus teams and partner universities to finalize and distribute the timetable before each semester, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
Resource Allocation and Optimization
  • Efficiently allocate classrooms, equipment, and other resources across campuses, aligning resource usage with the needs of students and faculty.
  • Develop scheduling strategies to accommodate high-demand periods and address potential bottlenecks.
Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct advanced data analysis using various data management tools, focusing on data driven decision making.
  • Generate reports and dashboards that provide insights into resource utilization, capacity, and optimization opportunities to inform strategic planning.
Process Implementation and Execution
  • Design and manage data flow processes to support accurate data capture, reporting, and analysis across campuses.
  • Implement and monitor process control measures to maintain high levels of efficiency and resource utilization.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as a central liaison between ESL's operational team, academic departments, and campus coordinators to align resource planning with organizational goals.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of timetable changes and resource allocations, ensuring smooth operational communication.
