An opportunity to join the Resolution Service Team within Birmingham City Councils Housing Solutions & Support Service as a Resolution Champion. You will be providing expert advice, resolving enquires and investigating matters to a resolution.
The Resolution Service Team responds to enquiries to the Housing Solutions & Support Service whilst providing support with service delivery, complaints, members enquiries, LGSCO, legal matters, subject access and freedom of information requests.
You will be holding a caseload of your own working to strict deadlines, delivering majority by written responses that provide solution or prevent risk of escalation to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will need to be customer focused, proactive, an analytical thinker with logical reasoning, a problem solving mindset, have attention to detail, make data driven decisions and use critical thinking.
You will need excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and the ability to manage a caseload with conflicting priorities.
Experience of homelessness, temporary accommodation, housing allocations, the relevant legislation and guidance will be an advantage.
This is a permanent role, working 36.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis.
