Residential Property Conveyancer & Team Leader / Partner - 6+ PQE

- Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 DOE
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week from home)

Are you a seasoned Residential Conveyancer with leadership ambitions or existing management experience? A leading Legal 500 firm in Hereford is looking to appoint a senior residential property solicitor to head up and grow their established team.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role while continuing to work on quality property matters - all within a friendly, flexible, and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As Team Leader / Partner, you'll take the lead in managing both your own caseload and supporting junior colleagues with theirs. The role will focus on a broad range of residential property work, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity
- Shared ownership, lease extensions, and new builds
- Matters involving attorneys, personal representatives, trusts, and matrimonial aspects
You'll also:
- Supervise and support junior team members
- Ensure quality and compliance across the department
- Play a key role in the strategic direction of the residential property offering
- Work closely with clients and develop strong professional relationships
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing (Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer)
- Proven ability to manage and supervise a team
- Broad transactional knowledge, including complex title issues
- Confident in resolving technical legal problems
- Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a case management system and strong IT proficiency
- Commercially aware with a collaborative and forward-thinking mindset
