Hours

Monday Friday, 9am 5pm (35 hours per week)

This is a live in position with rent free accommodation provided.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high profile around the development/office and ensure residents are checked within our requirements.
  • Carry out daily safety and security checks, maintain records in line with internal procedures, and keep all data protected and secure. Keep communal areas, gardens and grounds clean and maintained through effective contractor management.
  • Be responsible for all works being completed: raise orders, manage contractors, monitor progress and sign off completion.
  • Encourage and support the formation of a Residents Association and work with them to enhance the customer experience, including running social events via a Social Committee.
  • Build and maintain links with residents' family members, local authorities, doctors, social workers, health authorities, etc., as appropriate.
  • In emergencies, call the appropriate response team or authorities.
  • Assist with sales listed with partner company Retirement Homesearch, welcome new residents and help them settle in.
  • Collaborate with local peer team of Development Managers for advice, day to day support and attend team/company meetings monthly/annually.
About You
  • Customer Service - passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service, ideally face to face.
  • Communication - natural communicator, able to resolve issues and complaints effectively.
  • Health & Safety - understands importance of health & safety and can handle challenging or emergency situations.
  • IT - capable of operating Microsoft Office applications and learning new systems.
  • Administration - organised, methodical and experienced in keeping accurate records.
  • Personal - outgoing, able to build professional relationships with colleagues and customers; self motivated, proactive, team oriented and innovative.
