Residential Conveyancing Fee EarnerBright Solicitors are currently looking to recruit a further experienced Residential Property Fee Earner. The role involves client exposure and responsibility from day one.

The Successful Candidate:The successful applicant must be able to work effectively within a team, as well as effectively running an individual caseload; possess the willingness to promote the firm and develop personal connections; to market the services of the department internally to the rest of the firm and Bright Solicitor's services as a whole externally.
Experience in marketing and practice development would be welcomed.
The successful candidate must be professional, organised, competent, enthusiastic and ambitious; be able to work with other fee earners and seek advice and assistance whenever needed to develop knowledge and skills and to improve ability. The successful candidate would also be required to ensure that all courses booked are attended, including any management courses provided to develop personal skills.

The Main Purpose of the Role:An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner or Solicitor to join an expanding team.
You will join an experienced conveyancing team, who provide expertise in a wide range of transactions including sales, purchases, re mortgages, transfers of part, and leaseholds transactions.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Prepare and draft routine legal documents and correspondence.
- Carry out legal and title investigations and raise enquiries.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors in a professional and timely manner.
- Progress matters proactively, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.
- Maintain accurate and up to date file records using the firm's case management system.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all client and firm documentation.
- Assist with billing and file closure procedures.
- Comply with firm policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Work in accordance with regulatory requirements including SRA Accounts Rules, Lexcel and CQS standards.
- Monitor and help develop systems and procedures within your work areas, including the use of technology.
- Provide outstanding customer service with a strong commitment to client care.
- Meet budgetary and time recording targets agreed by the firm.
- Assist in the marketing of the firm for the Residential departments, other departments and the firm generally.
- Provide training and guidance for your assistant to ensure their development.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities effectively.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to explain legal processes clearly to clients.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualification (with practice rights)
- Working knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Experience handling files with autonomy.
- Competence in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of confidentiality, compliance and risk management.
