An established yet modern-approach law firm based in Newport is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancing professional who enjoys handling a varied caseload in a collaborative, supportive office environment.

You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring a high standard of client care and technical expertise throughout. You'll work closely with colleagues across the wider property department and benefit from a contemporary working environment with up-to-date systems and streamlined processes.

• Handling a full residential conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, remortgages and transfers of equity
• Managing files from initial instruction to post-completion
• Providing clear, timely advice to clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
• Conducting title checks, raising enquiries and reporting on property matters
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements
• Working effectively with support staff and contributing to a positive team culture

• At least 2+ years' experience as a Residential Conveyancer (Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or experienced Fee Earner)
• Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-driven
• Enjoy working in an office-based, collaborative environment
• Comfortable using modern case management systems
