Equans is looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in Croydon on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents and clients across social housing and regeneration projects, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the delivery of improvement and maintenance works.

As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the main point of contact between residents, our site team, and project managers - helping to minimise disruption, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships within the local community.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, keeping them informed of planned works, schedules, and progress.
  • Work closely with site managers and supervisors to ensure residents' needs are understood and met.
  • Arrange access appointments, distribute notices, and assist in resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Attend and support resident meetings, open days, and community engagement events.
  • Keep accurate records of resident interactions, access arrangements, and any special requirements.
  • Ensure residents' homes are treated with care and respect during all works.
  • Promote Equans' commitment to excellent customer service and community partnership.
Who You Are
  • Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Service, or Housing Support role (ideally within social housing, regeneration, or construction environments).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Empathetic and patient, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a wider site/project team.
  • Strong IT and administrative skills for managing resident data and communications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme and life assurance.
  • Employee benefits platform with discounts and wellbeing support.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within Equans.
