The RoleAs a Resident Engineer, you'll be permanently based at a dedicated customer site, becoming a trusted technical specialist within their operation. You'll handle a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Conducting preventative maintenance to keep the fleet operational
- Servicing forklifts and advanced material handling machinery
- Supporting day to day operations and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Providing technical advice, ensuring equipment safety and reliability

Who They're Looking ForThe company welcomes engineers from a range of backgrounds, especially those with:
- Military mechanical/electrical engineering experience (REME VM/Tech Elec, Armoured Systems, Marines/RAF techs, etc.)
- Vehicle technician or plant/engineering backgrounds
- Experience with plant equipment, powered access, agricultural machinery or mechanical systems
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) ideal, but not essential
- Confidence using IT systems and diagnostic tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- £31-43k, depending on experience
- Monday to Sunday rota, with shift premiums and overtime available with a choice of 40 or 45 hr working week
- 33 days annual leave including bank holidays (plus extra leave for long service)
