Research Scientist, AI Safety & Monitoring

Apollo Research is seeking a Research Scientist (Control) to join our Watcher product team in London or remotely. You will design control protocols, build monitoring systems, and test them on production-scale AI coding agents. You will contribute to our safety-driven research agenda and iterate based on empirical findings.

You will work with CEO Marius and a small team to translate research into practical detection mechanisms, prioritizing safety risks and scalable monitoring solutions.
