Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Physiotherapist within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.
This role will be part of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics (). Insight is a large scale, multi-institutional, research centre that seeks to leverage data and subsequent analytics to enable better decision making.
The successful candidate will be part of the Sensing & Actuation strand within Insight (). This specific role is concerned with validation of effective methods for human activity recognition, classification and analysis based on motion sensor data and/or data streams from mobile devices, and evaluation/validation of these technologies in the clinical and/or real world setting.
The successful candidate will provide input to projects relating to healthcare and sporting applications in the Insight Centre in UCD and will work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Please visit and to see examples of relevant projects.
Salary Range: €45,000 - €55,000 Per Annum. Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
