Research Intern - Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing

Responsibilities

• Lead experiments to answer cutting-edge research questions, designing evaluations and analyzing results.
• Explore novel approaches and emerging technologies that advance TR's product portfolio.
• Work with experienced research scientists and share findings through internal presentations and external publications.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field with demonstrated research experience (at least 1 publication required)
• Strong understanding of NLP and ML methodologies, including experience with Large Language Models
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate ML experiments
• Proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Experience working with unstructured datasets and applying data preprocessing techniques
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
