Research Engineer, Reinforcement Learning & ML Systems

Anthropic is seeking a Research Engineer in Reinforcement Learning to advance capabilities and safety of large language models. You will blend research and engineering to implement novel approaches and guide research direction, contributing to core RL infrastructure and new training environments.

You will work on agentic models via tool use, improve reasoning, and build prototypes for internal use, productivity, and evaluation, collaborating with researchers and engineers across teams.
