We are seeking an exceptional Research Associate to join our European team, based in our Dublin or Berlin office.

As a Research Associate at Perrett Laver, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging with outstanding candidates for senior appointments across the sectors we serve. You will represent both our clients and their opportunities with credibility and enthusiasm, while developing diverse, well-qualified talent pools and bringing insight into the wider market landscape.

This is an opportunity to work across our core sectors of Higher Education, Social Impact & Environment, Schools, and Research, Technology & Innovation, contributing to assignments that have a meaningful impact on organisations and their communities.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a recruitment / executive search role, not an academic or university research position. Applicants must already be based in the Republic of Ireland or Germany as we are unable to consider candidates who would need to relocate.

Skills and experience required:

• Curiosity and sector interest - a genuine interest in higher education, research, technology and innovation, and a desire to understand the people and organisations shaping these fields.
• Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity and professionalism, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical ability - a sharp, rigorous and inquisitive approach to research, analysis and problem-solving.
• Exceptional attention to detail - a meticulous approach to producing high-quality research, written materials and candidate documentation.
• Resilience and determination - the tenacity to navigate complex searches, build relationships and see assignments through to successful outcomes.
• Strong personal values - a commitment to integrity, collaboration, inclusion and the values that underpin Perrett Laver's work.
• Language skills - if based in Berlin, fluency in German and English is required.
