Research Assistant: Plant Cell Walls & Cryo-EM Analysis

The University of Cambridge is seeking a fixed-term postdoctoral researcher to advance an ERC-funded project on glucomannan structure and cellulose fibril evolution in plants. The role involves preparing plant cell wall materials, expressing and purifying proteins for binding studies, and contributing to microscopy analyses.

Documentation and regular team presentations are required. The appointment is funded from 1 July 2026 to 15 October 2027, with potential extension.
