Research Assistant: Computable 4-Manifold Topology

The Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford invites applications for a Research Assistant in combinatorial 4-manifold topology. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 9 months, funded by EPSRC's 'Computable Manifolds' grant, with start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will pursue research on 4-manifold topology and prepare results for publication, working with Professor Christopher Douglas; the role carries no teaching duties and is aligned with Athena SWAN and Race
