The Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to contribute to an active programme of research within the department. Eligibility Criteria- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrable academic or research experience relevant to statistical analysis, modelling, or data science.
- Evidence of strong analytical and quantitative skills suitable for supporting advanced research activities.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with statistical or programming tools commonly used in data analysis and computational research.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for academic collaboration and research dissemination.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing research tasks and documentation.
£35,681 to £41,636 per annum.
