Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (rising in April in line with the National Minimum Wage)
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 15:00
Transport: Own transport is essential
Overtime: Available
We are seeking a hands on, detail focused Repair Technician to join a fast paced operational environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving, and completing repairs to a high standard.
You'll be carrying out technical repairs, testing equipment, and ensuring products are refurbished safely and accurately. If you have strong repair skills and enjoy a role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities- Identify faults and carry out effective repairs on a range of items/equipment
- Test, inspect and quality check repaired items to ensure they meet internal standards
- Safely operate tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machinery
- Maintain accurate repair records and follow set procedures
- Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working area
- Work independently to meet productivity and turnaround targets
- Previous hands on experience in repair, refurbishment, mechanical, electrical, or similar technical work
- Confident using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve faults
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and safety guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
