Job Description

We are looking for a Cassette Repair Technician working for a leading organisation. Training will be provided. The role is working Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm. You will be required to ass a Basic DBS check to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Configure new and repair/refurbish ATM cash cassettes for the UK ATM Estate
  • Ensure cassettes are repaired to exacting standards with stringent quality control measures.
  • Use ATMs/test equipment and test programs to diagnose and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Ship cassettes and parts to CIT depots and Customer Engineers through the UK.
  • Update trackers/systems associated with the repair activity.
  • Repair/maintain cassette test ATMs.
  • Harvest parts from aged cassettes to support ongoing repair activity.
  • Maintain the cassette operation stock/holding areas at the Rotherham Depot and 3rd party storage locations.
  • Ensure all administrative aspects of the role are completed in timely fashion.
  • Continuously assist in improving and refining repair processes to deliver improved part-life expectancy.

Require experience

  • Familiarity with hand tools (incl. battery drills, heat guns, screw drivers etc.) required to complete the task.
  • Manual Handling awareness - pallet truck training will be provided.
  • Good IT Skills - MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Attention to detail - ability to follow technical information and procedures correctly.
  • Creative mindset and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • A methodical and systematic approach to troubleshooting and resolving faults.
  • A motivated team player with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Possess good communication skills, written and verbal.
