Relief Pharmacist

We are seeking a brilliant relief pharmacist to support our teams across the Cornwall area.
As a Relief Pharmacist for Boots, you will:
- Gain confidence quickly.
- Experience different stores and challenges.
- Receive flexible work patterns.
- Learn best practices to share with other stores.
- Build experience in delivering varied services.
- Experience stores working with care homes, GPs, etc.
- Encounter different management styles and staffing structures.
- Receive paid transportation at 45 pence per mile.
You will be stationed across 2-3 stores, with a rota planned at least 6 weeks in advance by our dedicated planning team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within busy service-led stores, supported by experienced ACTs, dispensers, pharmacy advisors, retail management teams, a Line Manager, and a Director of Stores.

About the roleAs a Relief Pharmacist, you'll provide excellent customer and patient care, offering expert advice and reassurance. You'll serve across multiple pharmacies, focusing on:
- Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice.
- Making legal and ethical decisions.
- Building store teams' pharmacy capabilities.
- Conducting audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure safety.
- Delivering professional pharmacy services.
- Registration with GPhC, PSNI, or PSI.
- High professional expertise and respect from stakeholders.
- A passion for community pharmacy and patient care.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and services.
- Effective communication skills.
