POSITION SUMMARY:
Join Alexander Dennis as our new Reliability Engineer to support the Reliability Manager in reducing and preventing VOR's and the improvement of turnaround time on RQI's.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Keep the VOR trackers up to date daily, logging the latest issues from the field along with the associated RQI number and vehicle status.
  • Identify increases/decreases in the number of issues associated with specific vehicle systems and report on these
  • Prepare graphs/charts for weekly reporting (e.g. top 5 system issues this month)
  • Obtain additional information on specific issues from the Service team where required e.g. to help Engineering RQI engineers and Quality Assurance engineers progress investigation/solution.
  • Participate in Subsystem Team (SST) meetings when required
  • Drive the 8D problem solving methodology for Reliability issues
  • Support the Reliability Manager in rolling out a cohesive reliability strategy for our EV products

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • HND or above preferably in a technical subject
  • Proficient at Excel
  • Able to navigate Qlik to pull data for reporting
  • Able to navigate QPulse both for finding process documents and for RQI's
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment under pressure
  • Technical knowledge/understanding of our products
  • Able to navigate MODtracker/Syspro to access BOM's/Drawings
  • Able to use Teamcenter Lifecycle Viewer or Structure Manager
  • Excellent Communicator - role will involve cross functional interaction
  • Knowledge of 8D methodology
