Responsibilities
  • Lead the site Asset Reliability program. Own and develop the site Major Incident Report (MIR), Analytical Problem Solving (APS), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, and act as the gatekeeper for effective closure ensuring all relevant improvements are coordinated via appropriate teams.
  • Embed asset reliability into the site maintenance strategy and ensure plans are in place to deliver the long-term improvement agenda. Reduce unplanned downtime and eliminate repeat failures through reliability processes.
  • Manage the site Condition Monitoring & Lubrication function toward the zero planned maintenance time concept to drive an increase in technical availability.
  • Support planning of failure-related corrective, preventative, and RCA work. Use design-out methods (DOM) to manage OEM and new investment.
  • Use cost summary details to highlight hot spot areas by line and area. Drive plans to resolve the top issues for the period.
  • Support the Line Engineering Lead to deliver Manufacturing Equipment Excellence through Excellence in Execution. Ensure all PMs are value-driven, cost-effective, and that the site has the right skills and capability. Drive value from the PM system.
  • Be accountable for the site criticality programme. Integrate RCM protocols to ensure cost-effective maintenance on critical equipment with systematic reviews of existing maintenance (REM).
  • Act as a key stakeholder in PEMM results for the Maintenance Support Department and, if applicable, support PepsiCo International.
  • Drive the maintenance plans agenda for Maintenance-By-Impression (MBI) as the future of planning.
  • Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plant or business operations.
  • Track production losses and high maintenance cost assets; find ways to reduce losses and costs.
  • Develop plans to eliminate or reduce losses through root cause analysis, obtain approval, and facilitate implementation.
  • Prepare and follow up downtime, unplanned downtime, MTBF, MTTR, Top 10 costs, and true efficiency reports.
  • Engage in risk management to support achievement of strategic objectives in environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.
  • Lead FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and CA (Criticality Analysis) activities.
  • Work with CTS team to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
  • Adhere to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the life cycle of new assets to mitigate obsolescence risk.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an Asset Preventative Maintenance Plan.
  • Develop solutions to repetitive failures and other problems affecting plant operations.
  • Participate and lead in new projects, following commissioning and start-up stages.
  • Monitor and analyze planned and unplanned downtime to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure maintenance plans include preventive, predictive, and corrective actions to guarantee safety, good condition of machines, high productivity, and good quality.
  • Co-operate with Maintenance Planner to improve the effectiveness of maintenance plans and repairs activities.
  • Maintain Food Safety, Health & Safety, and ISO 14001 environmental policies and procedures.
  • Track maintenance team performance and implement improvement actions as needed.
  • Duty holder for the PEMM assessment value drivers.
  • Review current PM plan, revise, and keep standards up to date.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and other reliability tools.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of equipment maintenance planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Certifications such as CMRP, Lean Six Sigma, or reliability engineering certifications are a plus.
