Job Description

Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? If so, we have opportunities in our Reinstatement team.Reporting to the area Reinstatement Controller, you will be responsible for the permanent reinstatement of excavations in highways, footways and other hard paved areas.

What you'll do

As one of our Reinstatement Operatives based in the North of the region, you will be working in a two-person team carrying out small and large reinstatements for other parts of the business.

This will include asphalt and white top work in footways and carriageways, along with repairing and replacing manhole frames and covers.

The need to work some weekends and nightshifts will also be required.

What you'll need

The ability to operate small plant, eg, pedestrian rollers, disc cutters, trench rammers and plate compactors. You should also have knowledge of material specifications and laying procedures, as well as some experience in blacktop reinstatement.

A full clean driving licence is essential, and a 7.5t or 18t licence, along with an NRSWA streetworks accreditation, is preferred.

We are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude, who is confident, driven, self motivated, well organised and a great team player.
