Job Description
- Own the change agenda across the managed regulatory reporting service
- Act as the primary contact for change-the-bank matters alongside the run-the-bank lead
- Line-manage and support the London-based reporting specialist
- Lead the second phase of the reconciliation platform implementation with the offshore delivery team
- Define and realise efficiency gains from the platform implementation
- Deliver process improvements, including migrating manual tasks to the platform and improving break management and data quality
- Own and respond to client queries within agreed timeframes
- Calculate and oversee errors and omissions threshold assessments
- Oversee client-requested data quality checks and validate analysis before responses are returned
- Represent the engagement on change calls with the client's outsourced back-office provider
- Follow up with brokers and ensure required changes are completed
- Work across all reporting regimes in scope rather than specialising in one regulation
- Coordinate continuously with an offshore counterpart to maintain change-workload coverage
- Provide hands-on BAU processing cover when required, including during offshore public holidays
- Extensive regulatory operations and regulatory reporting experience within financial services or with a reporting platform or service provider
- Multi-regime breadth across G20 transaction and trade reporting frameworks, including EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II / MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, or CSA
- Hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms, including implementation or phased rollout
- Track record of change delivery within an operational reporting environment, including process improvement, operating model design, and automation of manual tasks
- Experience with data quality remediation and regulatory controls
- Analytical rigour to support findings presented directly to a client
- Comfortable working with offshore delivery teams across time zones and coordinating coverage across locations
- Willingness and ability to perform hands-on processing when coverage requires it
- Confident client-facing manner and credibility representing the engagement to an institutional client
- Ability to hold third parties accountable for commitments
- Experience managing or mentoring a direct report, ideally a subject matter specialist working autonomously
Demonstrates extensive regulatory operations and reporting expertise within financial services, with a strong focus on multi-regime transaction and trade reporting frameworks. Proven ability to lead change initiatives, implement reconciliation platforms, and enhance data quality through process improvements.
