What You'll Do:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving advisory matters and litigation within health, social care, and education sectors.
- Represent clients at inquests, Court of Protection hearings, and Tribunals.
- Provide high-quality advice on safeguarding concerns, patient safety incidents, regulatory compliance, HSE/CQC inspections, and enforcement actions.
- Build trusted relationships with clients while offering practical solutions rooted in current legislation.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across offices to share knowledge and best practices.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in health law or related fields such as social care or education law.
- Proven ability to manage advisory caseloads and litigation matters involving complex regulatory frameworks.
- Advocacy experience at inquests or similar formal hearings like Court of Protection or Tribunal proceedings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate empathetically and effectively under pressure.
- A collaborative mindset with commercial awareness to align legal advice with client objectives.
