Registered Veterinary Nurse

Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a dedicated and passionate registered veterinary nurse who can provide advanced nursing care to patients receiving pioneering orthopaedic and neurological treatments.

Your ability to be forward thinking, show empathy and demonstrate exemplary teamwork is essential. This position is perfect for those who wish to develop their nursing knowledge and skills to the next level and care for patients with more advanced illness and disease.

This role will provide anaesthesia, surgical, and diagnostic nursing care to patients passing through the preparation and theatre areas. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of nursing care to the patients assigned throughout the entire anaesthesia/surgical and diagnostic process. The ideal candidate is dynamic, highly attentive to detail, and can thrive in a fast paced environment.

We offer a 12 week induction training scheme, ongoing support through quarterly one to one meetings and yearly appraisals, and encouragement for continuing professional development (CPD). The nursing structure supports growth and career development in various directions.

This is a full time role, 40 hour week, on a rotating shift pattern alongside a 1 in 4 weekend rota with days off in lieu, and a bank holiday rota. Salary £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
