Right at Home is looking for an exceptional leader to join our team. Having grown into an Outstanding-rated, reputable home care provider, we are now seeking a Registered Operations Manager to lead our service, develop our people, and drive performance through strong KPI management.
This is a hands on leadership role for someone who is highly organised, values led, and confident maintaining compliance while delivering outstanding, person centred care.

On call only once per month (as part of the leadership rota)
Key duties and responsibilities
Leadership & operations
Provide day to day operational leadership across the service, ensuring safe, responsive and person centred care
Lead, coach and develop the team through supervision, training, and performance management
Drive performance through KPI oversight (quality, compliance, recruitment/retention, rostering, call monitoring, incidents, complaints, audits)
Ensure effective rota planning and continuity of care, supporting the team to deliver consistent visit quality
CQC Registered Manager responsibilities
Act as the CQC Registered Manager for the service, ensuring compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and CQC guidance
Maintain readiness for inspection and embed the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and quality assurance systems
Oversee care governance including audits, action plans, learning from incidents, and continuous improvement
Ensure robust care planning, risk assessments, reviews, and accurate record keeping
Safeguarding, quality & risk
Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents appropriately, escalating in line with local procedures and Right at Home policy
Promote a strong culture of dignity, respect, safer recruitment, and medication safety (process led, within policy)
Stakeholder & community engagement
Build positive relationships with clients, families and professionals to maintain an excellent local reputation
Support service growth through community engagement and maintaining high standards people talk about
Requirements
Experience leading a team and developing people.
Proven experience leading a team and delivering results through KPIs (care leadership experience strongly preferred)
Strong organisational, communication and people development skills
Experience having gone through an inspection with a minimum good rating (desirable)
Completed higher education in Health & Social care, or an allied field.
Have had some Management training before
On-call participation once per month
Full UK driving licence and unlimited access to your own vehicle
