Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare's Barnet Grange Care Home, Barnet. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents, act as the person in charge, and supervise the care team. Requires a minimum of 2 years' experience and up to date knowledge of care, along with excellent interpersonal and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of care to residents, acting as the person in charge and standing in for the Manager as required.
• Perform nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
• Effectively deploy and supervise the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
• Undertake accurate assessment and care planning to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience and up to date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post basic studies/qualifications.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

• ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• Subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a submission to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
