We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a leading Nursing Home in Galway. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing residents' quality of life and values social, physical, and mental wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure all clinical needs are met and monitored.
• Create and update personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support and guide care assistants and junior nurses to maintain consistent clinical standards.
• Administer medications safely, accurately, and in line with strict policies and documentation requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Assist with shift supervision to ensure effective staff allocation and smooth unit operations.
• Promote a safe working environment by following regulations, adhering to infection control guidelines, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Requirements

• A licensed NMBI-pined registered nurse (RN).
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• One year of hospital experience is preferred.
• A driving licence is preferred.
