Part time, full time and casual positions available
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, very rare weekends and no nights or shift work!

Are you a compassionate, self-motivated nurse looking for a flexible and rewarding community-based role? We're seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team providing high-quality care to clients living with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injuries in their own homes.

This is a highly autonomous position where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. Your day will include:

  • Visiting clients 1:1 in the community to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Completing catheter care, wound care, and comprehensive nursing assessments
  • Providing pressure injury prevention and education
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary teams within LFBIT and other health care providers
  • Supporting chronic condition management
  • Contributing to practice improvements and quality care initiatives

You are an enthusiastic, organised, and clinically confident nurse who enjoys independence and variety in your work. You'll also have:

  • Have at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Have a current First Aid certificate
  • Have excellent clinical assessment and time management skills
  • Be confident using digital apps and documentation systems
  • The ability to support the Community Nursing Manager in increasing services throughout greater Canterbury region
  • A full driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Experience with spinal cord injury and/or neurological conditions (preferred)
