Are you a compassionate, self-motivated nurse looking for a flexible and rewarding community-based role? We're seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team providing high-quality care to clients living with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injuries in their own homes.
Te mahi angitu - The opportunityThis is a highly autonomous position where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. Your day will include:
- Visiting clients 1:1 in the community to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
- Completing catheter care, wound care, and comprehensive nursing assessments
- Providing pressure injury prevention and education
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary teams within LFBIT and other health care providers
- Supporting chronic condition management
- Contributing to practice improvements and quality care initiatives

You are an enthusiastic, organised, and clinically confident nurse who enjoys independence and variety in your work. You'll also have:

- Have at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Have a current First Aid certificate
- Have excellent clinical assessment and time management skills
- Be confident using digital apps and documentation systems
- The ability to support the Community Nursing Manager in increasing services throughout greater Canterbury region
- A full driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Experience with spinal cord injury and/or neurological conditions (preferred)
