Registered Nurse - Immunology and Multiple Sclerosis Minnesota Center for Multiple Sclerosis and Midwest Immunology, A Vivo Infusion Company Registered Nurse Plymouth, MN

Our ideal candidate will be a nursing professional with expertise in clinical assessments and patient education. Experience working in an immunology, MS, rheumatology, infusions, or oncology clinic a strong plus!

  • Leads phone triage for patient inquiries requiring clinical guidance and performs pre- and post-visit phone discussions.
  • Coordinates patient care with other healthcare providers, agencies, and facilities such as pharmacies, home care, and infusion centers.
  • Completes healthcare forms (e.g., disability, FMLA, return-to-work) as required.
  • Manages medication refills and pre-authorizations for complex medications.
  • Oversee Botox clinic operations, including inventory, scheduling, and pre-authorizations.
  • Educates patients and families on MS, disease management, medication side effects, and lifestyle changes.
  • Supports provide staff in patient assessments, neurological exams, and medication reviews.
  • Documents patient interactions in the EMR system in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provides emotional support to patients and families coping with MS.
  • Coordinates care with specialists, physical/occupational therapists, and other providers as needed.
  • Supports and promotes company culture and principles, demonstrating knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations.
Additional duties and responsibilities:
  • Trains and onboards practice staff as directed by the Practice Manager.
  • Ensure patient medical records are documented according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid state professional nurse licensure, required
  • Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/Bachelor's degree program, required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, required.
  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Registered Nurse, required.
  • Experience working in a specialty medical practice, preferred.
  • Prior experience and skilled in training and educating within a healthcare setting, required.
  • Must possess strong clinical assessment skills and experience.
  • Must have demonstrated record of and commitment to safety and excellence.
  • Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to complete accurate dose calculations and mix medications.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
