About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated RegisteredNurse to join our team in the Acute & Inpatient services (Covers AAU, Ward1 and Ward 2) at Ashburton Hospital on a casual basis. You will be flexible in coveringannual leave and sick leave.The Acute and Inpatient service see a diverse range ofpresentations, ranging from Triage 1 for immediate resuscitation through toTriage 5 who require less urgent care. Experience in emergency/acute care work,phlebotomy and being cannulation certified is advantageous.Ashburton Hospital is one of only four level three ruralhospitals in the South Island, and the largest rural health facility inCanterbury. About You Experience in providing a high level of emergency care, resus and clinical skills Acute medical or surgical experience is essential A NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate Confident practitioner with exceptional negotiating skill and knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a wide variety of people Flexible and adaptable with the ability to problem solve across all clinical areas of Ashburton Hospital when required Ability to work well under pressure within the nursing team Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
