This is a Fixed Term/Secondment vacancy for 6 months until 31/03/2026 due to maternity cover.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Emergency & Urgent Care Team in Withybush General Hospital.
Various full and part time hours are available.
The Department is able to provide dynamic intervention for the critically ill or injured patient. The EUCC Team is strongly centred on teamwork and patient care and the staff are proud to work in a diverse and friendly supportive environment.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate would be required to hold an NMC Registration and provide evidence of professional development, with a desire to work in the Emergency & Urgent Care Unit.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience of working within an Acute Care Setting, however, full support and training would be given to any candidate who is motivated to join our team.
Withybush General Hospital is situated in the coastal town of Haverfordwest.
Pembrokeshire is one of the most beautiful and contrasting counties in the UK which boasts a wide range of traditional villages and seaside towns with busy cities within driving & rail distance. Person Specification Qualifications and Knowledge- Current NMC Registration
- Degree in Nursing
- Evidence of post registration study and training eg POVA
- Evidence of post registration study and training eg Child Protection
- Intermediate Life Support if required in clinical setting
- Experience of providing holistic nursing care
- Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
- Implement evidence based practice
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
