Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care. You will be expected to work 38.5 per week, on a rota of days and nights (shift times 8:00am to 8:15pm; 8:00pm to 8:15am) at Cygnet Hospital Woking. Picasso Ward is our 12 bed female mental health acute service providing a safe and stabilising environment for women experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and requiring emergency admission.
Main duties / Responsibilities- Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
- Attend training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing practice.
- Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and Healthcare Commission guidelines.

Cygnet Hospital Woking offers a range of secure mental health services for men and women and an Acute service. Cygnet Lodge Woking, our sister hospital close by, offers a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service and an Acute service for men and extends our care pathway.

- You are an experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number.
- You will have the ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role.
- You have a good understanding of the latest nursing practices.
- You are committed to patient recovery to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk.
- You show compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence.
- You have the ability to deputise in a clinical lead role.
