Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire (S66)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + £5,000 Welcome Bonus
Working Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Young People (7-17) with Learning Disabilities (LD)
Employment Type: Permanent
The Home:
Number of Beds: Solo placement (currently)
Location: Rotherham (S66)
Type of YPs: Learning Disabilities (LD), complex needs, including referrals from higher-level settings
Ofsted Status: Established service
Staff Ratio: High staffing model (typically 3:1, with flexibility to increase based on needs)
This is a specialist solo provision designed to provide highly structured, consistent, and therapeutic care for a young person with complex needs.
Who We Are Looking For
An experienced and confident Registered Manager with a strong track record within Ofsted-regulated children's residential care.
A minimum of 12 months' experience in a Registered Manager position is essential.
A leader who is comfortable managing a solo provision and understands the demands of high-acuity placements.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and quality standards.
Ability to lead from the front, support staff development, and maintain a stable and high-performing team.
Calm, resilient, and adaptable in managing complex behaviours and needs.
Full UK driving licence required.
Qualifications Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards if not already held)
