Job Description
Registered Manager (Ofsted) - Lead, Inspire, Transform!

Location: Longbenton - Newcastle upon Tyne
Provision: 3-Bed Children's Home (EBD & Mild LD)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: To be determined based on experience
Reporting To: Responsible Individual

As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that Ofsted requirements are met and exceeded while empowering your team to deliver outstanding care.

Supports Children Aged 7-17 (on admission)
Specialisms: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mild Learning Disabilities (LD)
Focus on Therapeutic & Person-Centred Support

Who We're Looking For

We are searching for a passionate and experienced leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care to young people and developing a strong, motivated team.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
  • At least 3 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
  • Experience in EBD, LD, SEMH, CCE, PSB, Therapeutic, or Crisis homes
  • Strong leadership & team-building skills
Desirable Qualities
  • ️ Experience leading Ofsted inspections
  • ️ Passion for creating a warm, homely, and child-focused environment
  • ️ A drive to exceed Ofsted standards and continuously improve care quality
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & Manage the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
  • Support & Develop your staff, fostering a positive and nurturing work culture
  • Build & Maintain strong relationships with the community and key stakeholders
  • Ensure Safeguarding & Compliance with Ofsted, submitting required documentation
  • Drive Continuous Improvement - ensuring outstanding care for every young person
