Job Description
Registered Manager (Ofsted) - Lead, Inspire, Transform!

Location: Longbenton - Newcastle upon Tyne
Provision: 3-Bed Children's Home (EBD & Mild LD)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: To be determined based on experience
Reporting To: Responsible Individual

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day to day operations of the home, ensuring that Ofsted requirements are met and exceeded while empowering your team to deliver outstanding care.

Supports Children Aged 7-17 (on admission)
Specialisms: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Mild Learning Disabilities (LD)
Focus on Therapeutic & Person Centred Support

Who We're Looking For

We are searching for a passionate and experienced leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care to young people and developing a strong, motivated team.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
  • At least 3 years' experience in a residential childcare setting
  • Experience in EBD, LD, SEMH, CCE, PSB, Therapeutic, or Crisis homes
  • Strong leadership & team building skills
Desirable Qualities
  • ️ Experience leading Ofsted inspections
  • ️ Passion for creating a warm, homely, and child focused environment
  • ️ A drive to exceed Ofsted standards and continuously improve care quality
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & Manage the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
  • Support & Develop your staff, fostering a positive and nurturing work culture
  • Build & Maintain strong relationships with the community and key stakeholders
  • Ensure Safeguarding & Compliance with Ofsted, submitting required documentation
  • Drive Continuous Improvement - ensuring outstanding care for every young person
