Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Leigh, Greater Manchester
Salary: £50,000 per year

Service: Children's Home
Service Users: EBD. Our client's homes provide person-centred care for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years with a range of needs.
The Role:

As Registered Manager you will shape the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered while fostering a culture of love-led practice across a dedicated staff team.
Lead with purpose: take full responsibility for the management and operation of the home, ensuring a positive and caring atmosphere for both staff and young people.
Build relationships: establish and maintain strong connections with the local community and a network of professionals, promoting collaboration and support for the children in your care.
Create a homely environment: design a warm, welcoming space that reflects the views and needs of the children, ensuring they feel safe and valued.
Deliver excellence: maintain robust monitoring systems so that the highest standards of care are consistently met, and implement improvements where needed.
Qualifications Required:
Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management, or a willingness to work towards it.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a residential childcare setting is essential. An Adults and Children's DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential.

A confident, values-led manager with a proven track record with Ofsted and good outcomes for children, who can build and lead a staff team and create a genuinely homely environment for the young people living there.
