Registered Children's Home Manager - EBD Service

Location: Leatherhead. Salary: up to £65,000 per annum. Hours: Full-time, Permanent. Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of a 6 bed children's residential home.
• Ensure high-quality care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Home Standards.
• Lead, develop, and support the staff team to deliver outstanding care.
• Work closely with the on site therapist to provide therapeutic, child centred support.
• Manage care planning, safeguarding, and risk assessments.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
• Drive the home towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children's residential care.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
• Experience working with EBD young people.
• Local authority experience (highly desirable).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
