Job Description

Job Title: Registered Manager

Location: Nottingham (NG23 area)

Salary: £52,000 per annum with the potential to earn up to £62,200 through Ofsted and occupancy bonuses

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Full-time

Employment Type: Permanent

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: Mixed genders, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)

Experience Required: Experience working within Children's Residential Homes; strong Deputy Manager ready for progression or experienced Registered Manager

The Home:

New 4-bed EBD children's home requiring Ofsted registration. This is an opportunity to lead a new service from registration stage through to full occupancy and inspection.

Number of beds: 4

Ofsted rating: N/A - new service, registration required

Who we are looking for: We are seeking either a strong Deputy Manager looking to progress or an experienced Registered Manager.

Applicants must:

  • Have experience within Ofsted-registered Children's Residential Homes
  • Be willing to travel to head office in Pontefract for managers' meetings and interview
  • Declare any disciplinaries or failed Fit Person applications
  • Be comfortable with the advertised salary, reflective of experience and knowledge
  • Live within a commutable distance to the home

Who you will be working for: You will be joining our client's established children's residential provision, supporting the launch of a new home within an expanding group.
