Job Title: Nursing Home Manager / Commissioning Manager

Location: Horsham, Sussex

Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 + bonus

Award winning care provider looking for a passionate and experienced nursing home manager for their 70 bed service which requires some commissioning / expansion work! You will be supported by a quality team to ensure you can achieve your goals! Nursing home specialising in elderly and dementia care You don't need a PIN but must have managed a large nursing home!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the nursing home
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of staff
• Develop and manage budgets and financial plans
• Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Oversee an expansion of the home

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
• Financial management experience
• Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and empathy
• Proven turnaround experience

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification preferred or management of a large nursing home
• Previous commissioning experience is essential
• Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a nursing home or healthcare setting
• Relevant management or leadership qualifications are desirable
• Strong CQC history
