Job Overview- Our client is a nurse-led, RQIA-regulated homecare provider in Northern Ireland. The service is focused on delivering compassionate, clinically informed care with a specialism in dementia, complex needs, and live-in support.
- As a new entrant to the Northern Ireland homecare market, we are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Registered Manager to lead the next phase of the client's growth: building the brand, establishing a local presence, and securing a place on Trust Frameworks to begin delivering commissioned care packages.
- The role will require a strategic mix of relationship-building, outreach, and compliance leadership, with the first six months focused heavily on public engagement, digital visibility, and positioning the business to secure referrals.
- Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify and build relationships with relevant contacts in Health and Social Care Trusts, Integrated Care Boards, procurement teams, and commissioners.
- Represent the client at networking events, tender briefings, provider forums, and engagement meetings.
- Lead the preparation and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), framework applications, and contracting documentation.
- Ensure the organisation meets due diligence, capacity, and quality assurance standards required for framework inclusion.
- Serve as a public ambassador for the company, promoting its nurse-led model and clinical strengths.
- Create and publish content across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook, positioning the service as a trusted and innovative provider.
- Participate in podcasts, short videos, or blogs alongside the Founder to articulate the mission and values of the company.
- Share expertise at community events or information sessions where families, healthcare workers, or local partners are present.
- Maintain and oversee all systems required to ensure full and continuous compliance with RQIA and related regulatory standards.
- Develop and monitor key care delivery systems including safeguarding, medication, risk management, quality audits, and incident reporting.
- Support the organisation in preparing for inspections, internal audits, and future due diligence processes.
- Recruit and supervise a new team of carers as the business secures referrals.
- Ensure high standards in onboarding, training, care planning, and supervision.
- Lead the development of person-centred care processes and digital systems to support safe delivery and operational excellence.
- Support care assessments and initial client onboarding during the early growth phase.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, service packaging, and value proposition development.
- Participate in new client consultations, assessments, and referral meetings.
- Develop and maintain contact with professionals such as GPs, social workers, and discharge coordinators.
- Conduct audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews across HR, care, and operations.
- Maintain documentation including risk registers, improvement logs, and reporting dashboards.
- Prepare monthly reports for the Founder and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all staff to share this commitment. Information you provide will be handled in line with data protection laws and guidance.
