Job Description
Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Home

Location: Melksham
Salary: £60,000 per annum + £12,000 Joining Bonus
Working Hour: 37.5 hours per week
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: YPs - EBD, SEMH, Trauma, CSE, CCE
Qualifications Required:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People's Workforce

  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services (or willing to undertake)
    Experience in Years Required: Extensive experience in children's residential care management
    Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

A Registered Manager who can:

  • Manage a warm, safe, and supportive home environment

  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care

  • Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team

  • Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment

  • Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes

  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled

You must have:

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Extensive leadership and management experience in children's residential care

  • Strong understanding of legislation and safeguarding procedures

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment
