Job Title: Registered Manager - Children and Young People Assessment Home
Location: Devizes, Wiltshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + £7,500 joining bonus
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: Young People (YPs) - Assessment Home
Home: Assessment Home
Qualifications Required: QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification
Experience in Years: Minimum 2 years managing an Ofsted-rated "Good" or above children's home
Employment Type: Permanent

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an Experienced Registered Manager to lead our newly established Children and Young People Assessment Home. You will:

  • Have at least 2 years' experience managing an Ofsted-rated "Good" or above children's home.
  • Hold a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Have experience collaborating with clinical professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists.
  • Be skilled in multidisciplinary meetings and managing emergency placements.
  • Be passionate about ensuring young people have equal opportunities and the support needed to shape their own bright futures.

  • Manage the home: Ensure compliance with Children's Home Regulations and maintain a high standard of care.
  • Lead and inspire your team: Build a compassionate, motivated team and foster a positive workplace culture.
