Registered Dietician, Napanee

The Registered Dietitian (RD) provides community-based nutritional care functions in the prevention and management of diabetes. They participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services for individuals, families and the community that are affected by diabetes. The RD works closely with the Registered Nurse CDE and others to achieve a successful regional Diabetes Education Program. The RD acts as an ambassador for the Napanee Area Community Health Centre in the community and promotes positive partnerships with other providers to maximize the capacity for diabetes interventions in South East Ontario.
